Chan Marshall (aka Cat Power) announced on Friday August 3rd via her official, and personally-maintained MySpace page that she is to release a covers record (titled ‘Covers Record 2′??) in January, and will play some warm-up dates with her new band before then.  In other news, she recently had a wisdom tooth pulled, which also received its own singular blog mention.
