Embarking on their first tour as a duo, Nina Nastasia (she of extraordinarily lovely pipes) and Dirty Three drummer Jim White will take to the open road in October in support of their new Fat Cat release, You Follow Me. We are told that the debut is, “a fantastically focused record featuring the two incredible musicians in deep dialogue, performing at the height of their powers, exploring the boundaries of songform to find a rare and striking complement.” Kicking things off on October 3rd at New York’s Mercury Lounge and wrapping up just eight days later at Los Angeles’ Knitting Factory, Nastasia and White are sure to send shivers down your spine and give you yet another honey-voiced chanteuse to fall in love with.

  1. I totally missed this show! I’m pissed — record of the year, I say. Anyone make it?
