 Rest in peace, Luciano Pavarotti.  We never did catch you at the Met, sorry to say, but your voice has always been a thrill.

Your former manager Herbert Breslin once called  you `a rock star for people over 30′ and we’d have to agree.

    I saw him perform at Madison Sq. Garden 20 plus years ago.There is/was/will only be one Luciano. His voice will probably never be duplicated. R.I.P Maestro
