They just finished their second album in London and see no need for precious downtime — so what else is left for a bunch of young British lads (and one dad) with compelling hair to do? Hit the road in America and Canada, happily play old tunes and make new memories with eagerly waiting fans. Kicking off September 18 at Chicago’s Abbey Pub and finishing up October 1 at the Commodore Ballroom with the Mercury Prize-winning Klaxons in Vancouver, won’t you come out and support these lads and dance, dance, dance? If you ask me, any band that uses a fan’s inquiry about the band’s name (named after an errant tub jet?) as their bio on Myspace, is my kind of people. Given a chance, they’ll soon be yours, too. Look out for our In The Studio feature with Mystery Jets in Issue 26 (Editors cover) coming at you in just a couple weeks!
