UK’s Rumble Strips describe themselves as, “Like playing Clash songs, but using brass instead,” and on November 27 you can decide for yourselves with the domestic release of their debut, The Alarm Clock EP, via Kanine Records, and produced by in-demand Tony Hoffer. And what’s a perfect, harmonious way to celebrate your debut? To hit the road with another buzz band on the same day your album’s released! On November 27, the Rumbles will join up with Cold War Kids in Washington, DC until December 6 in San Francisco. Here’s a hint of the good times that are in store, our boys are famous for their rollicking cover of Thin Lizzy’s “The Boys are Back in Town.” Watch out!
The Sentimentals here at the office are also beaming with pride, as we had the distinct pleasure of conducting the Rumbles’ first interview in America! (Photo by Chris David)
