It’s safe to say that when Gallows singer Frank Carter was featured shirtless in all his tattoo’d glory on NME last week, riding high and defiantly atop the 2007 Cool List as the “coolest man in rock,” many American rock fans engaged in some collective head-scratching. It’s been a long time, surely, since NME so breathlessly got behind a hardcore/punk band as fervently as it has with Gallows. Thankfully starting January 9, the US can get a peek of the Gallows live experience, described as a “non-stop barrage of adrenaline fueled chaos,” in support of their July 2007 release Orchestra of Wolves. Want anymore convincing? Bad Religion asked them to headline a brief US tour this past October. Good enough for Greg Graffin, good enough for you.
Catch Gallows at the following stops in January:
1/9 – The Masquerade – Atlanta, GA
1/10 – Jack Rabbits – Jacksonville, FL
1/11 – The Social – Orlando, FL
1/12 – Common Grounds – Gainesville, FL
1/14– Red Room at Meridian – Houston, TX
1/15 – Emo’s – Austin, TX
1/16 – The Door – Dallas, TX
