Foo Fighters Confirm Winter US Tour Dates

Just days ago, we reported that the “coolest guy in rock” was coming to America, and now comes word that the “nicest guy in rock” Dave Grohl and his Foo Fighters will also take to the highways and byways of the US this winter. Just finishing up their massively successful UK arena tour, the Foos will embark on its first proper stateside tour in support of Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace starting on January 23, 2008 in Dallas. For fans looking to get in on the best seats in the house, Ticketmaster is holding ticket auctions for select dates on the trek that will benefit TreeBank, “an online donation system dedicated to urban forest tree planting.” More dates are expected to be announced shortly.

After the jump, confirmed Foo Fighters tour dates, and additional information on TreeBank.

Confirmed tour dates listed below, for further confirmations keep an eye on http://www.foofighters.com

1/23/08 – Dallas TX – American Airlines Center

online donation system dedicated to urban forest tree planting. Each

“branches” for tree planting in every community on the Foo Fighters
tour. The Ticketmaster auction page is:
