Save for some Grammy nods and the recently-released and fully awesome new video for “Conquest,” it’s been quiet in the Land of Jack and Meg. Today we get a whole lotta word coming from our favorite Nashville-transplant, Jack White. First, Icky Thump has been nominated as Album of the Year by NPR. Secondly, Jack gave a very candid, Glenfiddich-soaked interview to the Los Angeles Times wherein he speaks of the uncertain future of the White Stripes as a live act, buying “a saw” for his shop, working with Beck, his new Holga camera, and other interesting tidbits sure to please a Stripes-starved fan.
