Die! Die! Die! Announce Sophomore Album

We have praised this trio’s “willful dissonance” and compared them to “mid career Sonic Youth and the noisy vigor of Jesus Lizard,” but on February 12, 2008, New Zealand’s Die! Die! Die! are set to make good on their promise with the release of their sophomore album, Promises Promises on SAF Records. Produced by New Zealand songwriter Shayne Carter and mixed by Kevin McMahon, Promises Promises is sure to bring the noise, bring the sweat and start a commotion. Live dates in support of the release are in the works, including the Big Day Out Festival in Australia, SXSW 2008 in Austin, and US tour dates shortly thereafter.
