On May 6, 2008, Californian quartet the morning benders will release its debut album talking through tin cans on +1 Records. These San Francisco popsters have benefited greatly from attentive music bloggers and local radio support in the Bay Area and opening gigs for such buzz magnets as White Rabbits, Yeasayer, MGMT and Yo La Tengo, and will now garner their own well-earned attention at the Noise Pop festival in San Francisco in February and SXSW in March.

If you can’t handle waiting until May to get your paws on the LP, keep your peepers out for a limited edition single of “waiting for war” releasing March 11th, 2008 through +1 Records. And of course, here too, at the band’s official MySpace page.
