‘Supergroup’ is a correct, but ultimately lazy, word when speaking about a band that features Mick Jones (of the Clash) and Tony James (of Generation X). That they are making interesting and exciting music is the important issue here, in our minds. And since their recent sold-out shows in New York and Los Angeles were so successful, Carbon/Silicon have announced a slew of US tour dates through March and April, with a stopover in Austin for SXSW to get the party started right.

Look for Sentimentalist‘s interview with Carbon/Silicon in the March issue, coming soon! In the meantime, check out our report from their December 5th show in New York here.
