She & Him Confirm Tour Dates, Conan O’Brien Appearance

They turned heads and made jaws drop at San Francisco’s Noise Pop festival and SXSW, and now the hotly-tipped (ahem, understatement) duo known as She & Him — Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward — will play a handful of US dates starting April 21st in New York City, and perform on the Late Show with Conan O’Brien on on Tuesday April 22nd. Released just last week, She & Him’s debut album, Volume One, landed at #81 on the Billboard charts, and has sold an impressive 10,000 copies to date.

    bravo bravo bravo! there is intelligent life out there! i wanna thank the guy/people who still know what REAL music is, i didnt see zooey on conan, but i know her and her “band” megasuck, for conehead to even have had them on shows what a dipshit he is, im so surprised they even let this ‘band’ perform, they are so terrible, zooey does have a great voice, ive heard it, barely, here and there, and she does have potential, if she would get a voice coach, and as for these other ‘band’ members, they need to take lessons on how to play their instruments,…..zooey should be in ’suburban funk’ like she was in the movie ‘the new guy’ with d.j. qualls playing gil harris, that band rocked, wow, a made up band in a movie is better than her real life ‘band’, that’s pathetic, and another, zooey cannot act at all,…….they mention her like she is some big deal or something, and then i see the trailer for this new, stupid movie coming out in june with her, called the happening, with that dork mark wahlberg, and she doesnt do a fucking thing in the trailer! she’s barely in the trailer, and she doesnt even say a fucking word, i think she thinks she’s janis joplin, janis joplin, some screaming banshee woman who is now dead, i think because she was an alcoholic or something, i dunno much about her,………its all so fucked up today….wannabes and punk kids are running everything and they dont know shit about anything,……if i was at one of their ‘concerts’ i would throw eggs (not at their faces) unplug their sound systems, and boo them off stage……….if this shit continues, real people will have to listen to their real music in some dark cellar somewhere, while megaannoying wannabe sounds roar outside in what ‘used to be america’,…..even american idol, as much as it sucks, is better than shit like this,…..bad karaoke singers are better than shit like this,…………..
