The Mars Volta have just confirmed a run of U.S. tour dates in September, starting September 12 in Columbus, Ohio, a city they’ve had to cancel twice previously. In other Volta news, Omar Rodriguez appears on the latest cover of Rolling Stone along with Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen and B.B. King for the magazine’s 100 Greatest Guitar Songs issue. Rodriguez also has a Q&A feature within. “Drunkship of Lanterns,” off of 2003′s De-Loused in the Comatorium placed on the list.
