As soon as he wraps up his continent-spanning international tour that will span the UK, Europe, Australia, Japan, Russia and South Korea, Tricky plans to hop the Atlantic for an exclusive club tour that will hit 8 US cities this fall. And lucky New York City, which will be home to his kick off tour party at The Fillmore At Irving Plaza on September 4th! (See all dates below).

Tricky will tour the US with an all new band, performing songs from throughout his entire catalog alongside tracks from the new album. Produced by Tricky, with Switch on mixing duties, Knowle West Boy is named after the urban ghetto where Tricky was raised. The album finds Tricky going genre-skipping (and what else would we expect?). He jumps from the post-punk, Two-Tone, reggae, hip hop and pure pop he grew up adoring and cleverly rearranges it all into surreal songscapes for a vibrant album that is full of surprises. Knowle West Boy was released last month in the UK to rave reviews, of course.

9/5 – Philadelphia, PA – The Trocadero
