Additional performers have just been announced for the 9th annual Village Voice Siren Music Festival taking place on Saturday, July 18 at Coney Island. New artists to the bill include A Place to Bury Strangers, Thee Oh Sees, Tiny Masters of Today, Justine D, and the DeadHeat DJs. Previously confirmed bands on the roster are Built to Spill, The Raveonettes, Spank Rock, Frightened Rabbit, and Monotonix among others. The Siren Music Festival is of course all ages, and most importantly, free.

For those not completely wiped out by the prospect of nine hours in the insufferable NYC summer heat, the official Siren After Party will kick out the jams at the Music Hall of Williamsburg at 9pm. Scheduled to hit the stage are Gordon Voidwell and Francis and the Lights with additional artists TBA. For ticket information, visit bowerypresents.com. Public onsale is June 19 at noon.
