Ah, Jelly! You’ve done it again. Though the McCarren Pool is closed, Jelly has gone and found a spiffy, new, breezier seaside locale for their annual summer Pool Parties. And all with a view of the Empire State Building!
This summer’s stellar lineup, to be held on eight consecutive Sundays in Williamsburg, Brooklyn (July 12th – August 30th), dares to go beyond that of past years, with shows headlined by everyone from 80′s Boston legends Mission of Burma to Deerhunter, Girl Talk, Grizzly Bear and more, not to mention beloved, local NYC openers such as The Netherlands and Fiery Furnaces. So slap on the sunscreen, take a deep East River breath, and get your free summer rock on.
