The debut album from Riceboy Sleeps is an intensive, textured study in the subtle ways to change the polluted atmosphere and paint it with something beautiful. Sigur Rós vocalist Jon Thor Birgisson and his partner Alex Somers have brought to vivid, somnambulant life the exhibition project they’ve been cultivating for the past three years. Landscapes become soundscapes, soundscapes become farscapes and then join together in a pure, heavenly ether where everything is still and lovely and weightless.
