The Dead Weather announced today the immediate release of Live From Third Man West via iTunes. Recorded at the Third Man Records and Novelties West pop-up shop when the band was on tour in Los Angeles in August, the live EP will include audio and video recordings of four fan-favorite Horehound tracks, and a cover of heavy metal legends Pentagram’s “Forever My Queen.”
In other Dead Weather news, the band has just released the single “I Cut Like a Buffalo” along with two accompanying promo videos directed by Jack White, and is said to have half of a second album’s worth of material in the bag, some of which (“Jawbreaker”) have been tested on audiences.
