One of our favorite discoveries of CMJ 2006 is finally roaring back to life. Scanners, a gritty quartet out of London, will release Submarine in February through Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak imprint label.  Produced by Stephen Hague who has worked with New Order, Siouxsie & the Banshees and Peter Gabriel in the past, and fronted by the fearsome pipes of singer Sarah Daly, Submarine is the follow-up to 2006′s Violence is Golden. “Salvation” has been slated as the album’s lead single for release in December.

Look for tour dates in support of Submarine to be announced very soon. In the meantime, be sure to catch them all over Europe this month!
