Black Rebel Motorcycle Club have just confirmed release dates and tour information for their upcoming fifth studio album, Beat the Devil’s Tattoo. Due out March 9th in the United States and Canada (March 8 UK/Europe/Japan/Australia et al; March 16 in Germany) Beat the Devil’s Tattoo was recorded in Philadelphia and Los Angeles, and marks the first release through the band’s Abstract Dragon imprint via Vagrant Records/Co-Op Music Group and album with new drummer Leah Shapiro, after founding drummer Nick Jago left the band in 2008. Though additional details on the album are slim at this time, the band has announced a North American tour set to begin on February 26th in Sacramento, CA. Pre-sales for all shows are set to begin on Wednesday, December 2nd.

Beat the Devil’s Tattoo is the follow-up to 2007′s Baby 81. BRMC also marked the release of their first live DVD, BRMC: Live, earlier this month. Tracklisting and lead single details are expected shortly.
