French new-wave/you-name-it collective Nouvelle Vague blew us away over the summer with their perfect blend of shimmy and shake and novel take on songs by Queen and Depeche Mode. And just in time to warm some cockles and work off some of that stubborn holiday weight, comes the announcement that principles Marc Collin and Olivier Libaux have cooked up a lengthy North American winter tour in support of October’s 3. Kicking off January 22nd at Philadephia’s World Cafe, Collin and Libaux and a revolving door of slinky chanteuses will dance audiences to the end of love and lust with ace covers of “Blister in the Sun,” “Our Lips Our Sealed” and “God Save the Queen” among many other brave covers.
