Spoon is set to kick off a lengthy North American tour in support of their upcoming seventh studio record, Transference, on March 17 as part of South by Southwest in Austin, TX.

Already garnering high praise from all corners on the back of its lead single, “Written in Reverse,” and early press access, Transference (out January 19th on Merge Records) was self-produced, the band’s first release without a third-party at the helm. Look for Britt Daniel and crew to perform on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien on January 19th.

Deerhunter has been booked for support on all Spring dates. Royal Oak w/ The Strange Boys
will support in New Orleans, and Micachu & the Shapes will jump aboard the trek beginning April 1 in Chicago until tour’s end.
