How we’ve missed the darling razor wit of Kate Nash. Not that we don’t enjoy the adventures of Lily Allen, and the stylings of Laura Marling, but there was something so wholly endearing about Kate. Thankfully the wait is over on April 20, when she will release the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2008′s Made of Bricks on Fiction/ Geffen Records.

During her time off, our red-headed girl has been learning to drive, apartment-hunting and adopting bunnies. She has also learned to play the drums, and even joined a punk band, the Receeders, for whom she plays bass.

Produced by Bernard Butler (Suede) and recorded at RAK studios in London, Kate’s upcoming album is said to be “all about growing up, taking responsibility for yourself and your actions, being a human and standing up to right the world’s wrongs… and of course falling in love.”
