Delightfully sassy British singer-songwriter Kate Nash is set to release her sophomore album, My Best Friend is You, on April 20th via Fiction/ Geffen Records. A brief North American promotional tour has been slotted to begin April 26 in Toronto.

Nash premiered the deliciously retro video for kicky lead single “Do Wah Doo” last week, featuring dancing flight attendants and colorful, topsy-turvy melodrama.

Produced by former Suede guitarist Bernard Butler, My Best Friend is You is a bold step forward for Nash, as she ventures into profane, ultra-personal and hilarious stream-of-consciousness rants (“Mansion Song,” “Don’t You Want to Share the Guilt?”) punky, PJ Harvey-esque stylings (“I Just Love You More”) and her trademark whip-smart wit on standouts “Kiss that Grrrl,” “Do Wah Doo,” and “Later On.”
