What do you get when you bring a bunch of musicians and fashion designers together to make arts and crafts? The answer to that question is, you get a ton of original artwork for an online auction called Crafts For a Cause that will donate all the proceeds to the organization “Artists for Peace and Justice”!

Binki Shapiro, singer of Little Joy and girlfriend of The Strokes’ Fab Moretti, has created one of the most talked about charity efforts on the scene. In an effort to raise money for the relief efforts in earthquake-devastated Haiti, Shapiro has brought together a slew of Hollywood’s finer artists and indie rockers to help out. If you ever thought you wanted a tote bag with every single member of The Strokes’ autographed signatures, or a hand painted camera by Drew Barrymore, now you have that chance beginning Monday morning, March 15th, at Bidding For Good.

Other famed contributors included are DJ extraordinaire Mark Ronson, Liv Tyler, actress Natalie Portman, Kings of Leon, Shirley Manson, Scott Sternberg of Band of Outsiders, CFDA award-winning designers of Rodarte, among others. For a full list, head on over to the hype page created for the cause.

If you don’t have the cash in your pockets to bid you can help by spreading the word by linking this post all over facebook and twitter and other email efforts.– Kristen May Lee
