The Pains of Being Pure at Heart at the Cake, NYC

Summer’s here, so who can’t resist a little more jangle, jangle and catchy pop to sweeten our nights?  Kanine Records’ Surfer Blood, in support of their debut album, Astro Coast, and Slumberland’s The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, (just back from a month hitting countries from Japan to New Zealand), are teaming up for a 2-week U.S. tour (also with Hooray for Earth).

This May, Surfer Blood will also release a “Swim” 7″, featuring the Allen of Baroness remix.  Next, they will tour the UK.

The Pains of Being Pure at Heart is touring in support of their new single, “Say No To Love,” hitting i-Tunes and stores on June 8th. Stay tuned future dates and their long-awaited sophomore album. (TPOBPAH photo by Tear-n Tan)
