The Kissaway Trail – ‘Sleep Mountain’

Instead of adhering to the path oft taken and comparing Denmark’s Kissaway Trail to Arcade Fire, I’ll go ahead and suggest that perhaps the quintet holds more in common with an old U2, Echo & the Bunnymen, Interpol and The National than the “Wake Up” critical darlings.

Puracane at Bowery Electric, 04.22.10

New York-based trip-hop act Puracane made an appearance at Bowery Electric on Thursday for a show that was part birthday celebration for one of the band members and part album release celebration for I’ve Been Here The Longest (out now on Astraea Records).
