On August 1st, Montreal’s Arcade Fire will kick off their first proper U.S. headlining tour in three years, in support of their third studio release, The Suburbs, out August 3rd on Merge Records. Ticket pre-sales have begun via the band’s official website. $1 from each ticket will be donated to Partners In Health, “an organization helping impoverished communities around the world combat disease and poverty.” Additional dates are expected to be announced shortly.

Spoon has been tapped for support at the Philadelphia, New York, DC and Atlanta shows.

The band also announced two intimate shows at Sherbrooke ONT’s Theater Granada on June 7th and 8th.
