Veil Veil Vanish has announced new tour dates that will include several stops on the East Coast in June. The San Francisco-based band’s first full-length, Change in the Neon Light, was recently released on Metropolis Records and has drawn rave reviews. Brilliantly blending post-punk, darkwave and shoegaze, with influences from The Cure and (early) Killing Joke and Clan of Xymox to My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive, the album is a compelling listen, with songs both dark, brooding, catchy and upbeat.

Veil Veil Vanish made their debut in 2007 with the equally mesmerizing EP, Into a New Mausoleum, and has shared the stage with A Place to Bury Strangers, Cold Cave and No Age, to name a few. The band also contributed a song, “The Upstairs Room” to Perfect as Cats: A Tribute to the Cure, as well as one, “Forever Again,” to Dots to Connect (a tribute to The Prids).
