Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros’ song “Home” has been given the ArpLine treatment. Where the original is upbeat and sort of folksy, ArpLine’s remix is a darker, synth-driven tune that wouldn’t sound out of place on a Front 242 album circa 1988.

The track premiered with Paste last week as a free mp3 download, with the band celebrating its sold-out performance supporting School of Seven Bells at Mercury Lounge.

The Brooklyn-based ArpLine is set to release the full-length Travel Book this fall, and a summer tour is in the works with dates to be announced shortly. –Teresa Sampson

  1. Why, why, why?!?! Why on earth would anyone do that to that song? It’s horrible!
