Travis frontman Fran Healy is set to release his debut solo effort, Wreckorder, on October 5th via Ryko.

The 10-song “emotionally challenging” Wreckorder was recorded in Berlin, New York and Vermont is said to be “the sound of a songwriter who embodied the spirit of Britpop and continues to artistically evolve.” First single “Buttercups” is streaming now at Also of note, two very special guests joined the Wreckorder proceedings: Neko Case sits in for a duet on album highlight “Sing Me to Sleep,” and Paul McCartney can be found laying down the bass guitar on “As it Comes.”

Currently on tour with Keane, Healy has also confirmed solo shows on the west coast. Each show will feature Healy performing a solo acoustic set along with various Travis songs.
