Get your sea legs in gear and don some glam dancing shoes on deck. The first ever Bruise Cruise has announced its maiden voyage with a music festival aboard a cruise ship to set sail from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas on February 25-28, 2011. For music fans, it’s like two bangs for the buck since it’s a tropical getaway and a rock and roll fantasy fest on one boat.

The first year’s line-up will feature: The Black Lips, Vivian Girls, Strange Boys, Thee Oh Sees, Ty Segall, Quintron and Miss Pussycat, Turbo Fruits and DJ Mr. Jonathan Toubin. Multiple concerts aren’t the only perk here, though. Entertainment will also include a Bahamas island party, open-bar cocktail hours, Toubin’s famed soul dance-off party with cash prizes, gambling on board, and a Puppetry and Pancakes breakfast show with Miss Pussycat.

Amenities featured on board include the usual cruise fare: gambling, resort-style pools, water parks, spas, fine dining and more. The price of one ticket will cover all entertainment, lodging, meals and even some drinks. It’s going to be a rather intimate affair too, since just 400 guests will be able to attend the first Bruise Cruise Festival.
