NYC’s infamous midtown mecca, Rockefeller Center, is pulling out all the stops for the second annual Fashion’s Night Out on Friday, September 10, 2010, from 6:00PM to 11:00PM. The plaza will turn into a grand red carpet experience, with visitors and shoppers given the “celebrity treatment”, along with live performances by NYC bands and models strutting in style.

Besides the red carpets, there will be a live fashion show with models wearing clothing and accessories from retailers in the Center, a Fashion’s Night Out “step & repeat backdrop” where visitors can pose for photos, discounts given to shoppers at participating retailers, and overlooking the Rink Bar, a Lucite stage for bands to perform in front of the Prometheus statue.

One of these bands to take on the lucite stage will be Brooklyn-based BEAR HANDS, as well as Brahms and Savoir Adore.
