Iconic ’90s psychedelic rockers Urge Overkill are back with their first new material in 15 years with rowdy new single, “Effigy.” Currently busy working on the follow-up to 1995′s Exit the Dragon in Chicago, the band is booked to perform at the upcoming and sure to be legendary Samuel L. Jackson-hosted Friar’s Club Roast of Quentin Tarantino on October 1st.

The current Urge Overkill line-up includes original singer/guitarists Nash Kato and Eddie “King” Roeser, drummer Brian “Bon” Quast (Polvo) and bassist Mike “Hadji” Hogkiss, and will return to the New York City stage on October 4th at Mercury Lounge. Tickets on-sale now.
