The always enchanting and unpredictable PJ Harvey will release her eighth studio album, Let England Shake, on February 14, 2011 via Island Records. Produced in conjunction with Flood (who also helmed Harvey’s landmark 1995 effort To Bring You My Love, and 2007′s unsettling White Chalk), Mick Harvey and John Parish, Let England Shake was “recorded in a 19th Century church in Dorset,” according to Harvey’s official website. Few details were provided in the announcement this morning about the album, however, the site did note that Harvey will perform with a full band (Harvey, Parish and Jean-Marc Butty) for the European dates she has confirmed thus far in late February.
