Ian McCulloch has always seemed like the type of lad that believes one good turn deserves another. So it makes perfect sense that Liverpool’s post-punk legends Echo & The Bunnymen would take heed of the rapturous reception they received during the 2008 tour behind 1984′s classic Ocean Rain, and figure out something else to do in kind. Just coming off a successful UK jaunt on their new Crocodiles & Heaven Up Here tour where they have been performing tracks from their two earliest releases, that rascal McCulloch and his Bunnymen are now set to touch down Stateside for another go in May.

In the event that you have forgotten, 1980′s Crocodiles boasts the classic “Rescue,” while the critically acclaimed 1981 release Heaven up Here spawned “A Promise.”

And, in case you missed it, 2009′s The Fountain was not half bad whatsoever.
