This is house music inspired by horror films, led by a fella who fancies himself one with the monks, so they say. Though the music sounds a lot more chipper than the way they describe their work and it’s ten notches less dark than their latest album cover (above), Norwegian psychedelic electro act Tôg is worth checking out. They’ve announced the U.S. release of a limited edition 10” vinyl to coincide with the upcoming U.S. tour. Reint Mel (I Påsen Din), due out on March 22 on Brilliance Records, will be a double-sided collection of all the band’s singles to date in Norway and will include remixes by Teengirl Fantasy and others.
