It’s the first day of spring, and already, SXSW has passed and we’re looking ahead to festival season around the globe. Reading and Leeds, the iconic British festivals who brought back The Libertines last year, will begin selling tickets tonight at 7:15 in the UK (GMT).

NME.com reports that the first line-up list, with details on the three headliners for the August 26-28 festivals, will be announced as soon as tickets go on sale.

Festival head Melvin Benn has ruled out headliner names such as Foo Fighters, Kasabian, Kings Of Leon, System Of A Down, Linkin Park and Slipknot, but we’re sure the main acts will be impressive, so stay tuned.
