The Austin Psych Fest 4 spirals into Austin, Texas at the iconic, riverside Seaholm Power Plant this weekend, April 29 – May 1, 2011, curated and hosted by The Black Angels and The Reverberation Appreciation Society. One of NYC’s newest music PR agencies, Tigress, is sponsoring the festival, with the apropos mission of “Showcasing the best of vintage, modern, established, and up-and-coming acts that push the envelope in mind expanding music.”

NYC will be in the house, bringing a kaleidoscope of stellar acts such as A Place to Bury Strangers, The Black Hollies and Zaza, while newer bands from afar, like Berlin’s Blue Angel Lounge, who we just caught at Coco66 in Brooklyn last week, will join the bill, along with favorites like Crocodiles, Atlas Sound, No Joy and Prefuse 73.

Added sponsors for this year’s three-day event include: The Austin Chronicle, Fender, El Cosmico, and Alive Natural Sound Recordings, among others.
