Brooklyn-based dream poppers Dead Leaf Echo are set to release a new EP, Verisimilitude, May 31st on Custom Made Music, featuring remixes and collaborations with Mark Van Hoen (Seefeel, Mojave 3) and John Fryer (This Mortail Coil, Depeche Mode) and more. Verisimilitude will be a limited-edition release of 100 copies with the cover art created by band members LG and Christo Buffam.
We’re happy to premiere Dead Leaf Echo’s track, “Woolgathering,” the spacey remix by Mark Van Hoen. Have a listen here.
DLE’s debut at SXSW this year included bills with A Place To Bury Strangers and Trail Of The Dead, and in late 2010, they played sold out shows supporting Ulrich Schnauss and Chapterhouse.
The band has also announced tour dates in support of Verisimilitude and the 2010 release, Truth, on which the remix EP is based.
