Australia’s Children Collide first floored us with their ballsy performance at the 2010 Aussie BBQ and since then, they’ve gone back on home and we’ve had to appease ourselves with news of their remote happenings. We’re not sure when they’ll be back to the US, but at least we’ve got the new single, “Loveless”, out today, May 23, and an intense video to get us through until their next visit stateside.

“Loveless” isn’t one of the band’s more thrashy songs, but a big ballad of “strength and sorrow.” The video, directed by the amazing Animal Kingdom director David Michôd, (and his first foray into music video), is a chilling one. Watch as Children Collide frontman Johnny Mackay gets a bit more than a haircut and a face wash in this shattering video.
