Tour Life: First Official Skrillex Video

The first official Skrillex video goes up and it’s a hyper paced, best of, 1001 cameos, look at how much fun we’re having, mini documentary of his 2011 tour. And, well, yeah it looks like a freaking blast, all that mad cap energy and throwing of the hands in the air like you just don’t care/care a lot. I laughed at the two guys who took an inflatable boat for their stage dive (and it actually worked, around the 2:30 mark), I’ve never seen that particular vessel used for an off stage journey.

Bonnaroo 2011: The Ten-Mile Odyssey and Orwellian Undertones Are Still Worth It

This year, I was excited to see both Sleigh Bells and Band of Skulls, but many others had the same idea, since both performances were relatively packed, considering they were both tent shows on Thursday. Neither band disappointed, whether it was explosive sounds and lights from Sleigh Bells or the bluesy cords of Band of Skulls. Metronomy – ‘The Bay’ Video

I’m going to be a digital Paul Revere and say: “hear ye, hear ye, get ya nice refreshing beach video right here”, and then Sarah Palin will show up and correct me by saying that this video is called ‘The Beach’ and it doesn’t feature enough progressive politics, and I’ll just say and think, “way to use last week’s meme, jackass”.
