Besides the Black Angels’ recent shattering appearance at the first Village Voice 4 Knots Festival this month, they made history at Bonnaroo and Fuji Rock in Japan, set out on an Australian tour, hosted the Austin Psych Fest, and appeared on MTV’s 120 Minutes and NPR’s World Cafe. A new U.S. tour gets underway in August.

Their latest album, Phosphene Dream, considered “rock album of the year” by someone who loves to rock out at BBC, was produced and mixed by Dave Sardy (Oasis, Wolfmother) in Los Angeles. Now’s your chance to see them take on smaller stages throughout the U.S. this fall.
