As Jack White sees Nashville’s gritty garage act PUJOL, “It’s a wild abandon inside them. I can see that it’s inside of those guys, and it’s just gonna keep snowballing.” Take it from a Detroit rock master, these guys, led by fired-up frontman Daniel Pujol, are going to be big.

PUJOL’s latest EP, Nasty, Brutish and Short, tells it like it is with infectious garage punk apomb. Coming out October 18, it will be their tenth release in two years and their first on Saddle Creek. Check out their video, directed by none other than Stewart Copeland:

They’ve got a fall tour lined up with none other than Ted Leo & the Pharmacists too, including three dates at CMJ.
