Sure, they’ve got a couple of former Pitchfork writers in their band and their debut album, Trash Hit, (released in March), got some peachy accolades from the likes of Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Fader, Impose and all, but hey, don’t be a hater. This is a killer indie rock band, so they deserve some recognition. And they’re likened to a rockin’ version of LCD Soundsystem, a band they’ve opened for (and members have sung with), so that’s a bonus. We need some more meaningful, aggro melodic rock in our lives.

Since we missed them at the 4Knots Festival this July, now’s our chance to catch them this month during the CMJ Music Festival 2011, or during their November tour with Mister Heavenly.
