Last winter, the songs of BALAM ACAB (aka Alec Koone), were our go-to after hours songs, spun for many a random party in the Sentimentalistmag/S!CK party HQ. That fantastical dark sound! The ghostly voice! The deceivingly catchy beats! The debut Ep See Birds definitely found its fans here. This fall, Tri Angle released BALAM ACAB’s Wander/Wonder, his debut, on September 6th, 2011 on all formats. It was written and produced by Alec Koone and mixed by Alec Koone and Sam Haar (of Blondes).

For the seemingly reclusive Alec Koone, a 20-year-old from PA, who was 19 and based in New York at the time of his first release, Wander/Wonder is a work that’s shown how an artist does evolve. Live, he’s now got a vocalist and has created a set to shake you from your pointed-toe boot straps. It’s definitely going to be an occasion verging on spiritual.

Now, Alec has prepared a live, revamped Balam Acab set, complete with vocalist who will take center stage.  This fall’s tour marks Balam Acab’s live debut, an occasion that should not be missed. It is kicking off in a church in Harrisburg, PA, after all.
