I’m not a fan of reunion tours, but since Jarvis Cocker has done quite well on his own and has not lost an ounce of his ascerbic wit and rock charisma, and this reunion will involve all original band members, the return of Pulp will not disappoint.

Great things were heard about their Primavera Festival date, etc. last year, after all.

Though they haven’t been stateside since their last album tour for This Is Hardcore in 1998, Pulp will return to the U.S. this April to play Coachella, The Warfield in San Francisco, and Radio City Music Hall in New York. And this isn’t some cheeky reunion tour with twenty-something newbies filling in for the originals.  This, as mentioned, is all the key players: Nick Banks (drums), Jarvis Cocker (vocals, guitar), Candida Doyle (keyboards), Steve Mackey (bass), Russell Senior (violin, guitar) and Mark Webber (guitar), playing a set of songs from each period in their career.

April 11 — New York, NY — Radio City Music Hall
April 13 — Indio, CA — Coachella
April 17 — San Francisco, CA — The Warfield
April 20 — Indio, CA — Coachella
