What moody music they’ll make on these shared summer stages. Balam Acab has just announced his North American tour, beginning this month on June 8th, as support for the mighty Scotsmen Mogwai, who are finally coming back to celebrate their latest album, Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will.

Balam Acab, otherwise known as Alec Koone, released his debut LP Wander/Wonder on Tri Angle Records in 2011, and his seemingly steady road to success has been rather quick, though it’s one that always manages to split between fog and bursts of moonlight, as it should be. Touring with the quintessential post-punk Mogwai will be quite a trip.
