You know what’s better than going to music festivals elsewhere?  Going to music festivals down the street from you.  This kind of change will boost me from a $10 a day budget to one of at least $11.75, which is okay since I can walk home and drink in my gloriously nearby rathole apartment at my leisure. Okay, okay, so it’s no SXSW.  It’s smaller.  It’s more intimate.  And did GZA perform all of ‘Liquid Swords’ at SXSW?  I don’t think so (but I’m not 100% sure on that, so don’t quote me).

Without further adieu, here are some things I’d like to do:

Thurday: See GZA play all of ‘Liquid Swords.’  However, I won’t get into this, so I will be going to Kanine Records & Terrorbird’s Showcase at the Knitting Factory (361 Metropolitan Ave)
