Prince Rama has gotten all apocalyptic on us with their latest “cosmic disco” of a sprawling album, ‘Top Ten Hits of the End of the World’, to be released November 6th on Paw Tracks. Besides inventing ten bands that died during this mysterious apocalypse, Prince Rama have resurrected their ghosts of the future to perform the fall out of eclectic pop hits on the album, recorded half with Tim Koh in Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti’s studio and mixed with Scott Colburn.

Here’s “So Destroyed”, a track from Rage Peace, the conceptual, anarchic 90′s protest band (as channeled by Prince Rama), who became spokespeople for a whole generation following the Rage Peace movement, “based on the principle of nihilism as the only true order, and wrote songs with violent messages placed in seemingly saccharine pop structures.” That’s some heady stuff worthy of its own film.
